Why Colossians was written:
The church at Colossae was under attack from false teachers who were insulting the deity of Jesus; they were teaching that He was not actually God. Paul addressed these issues head-on.
Today we discuss Employees and Employers. Are we honoring God in our work?

Employee (3:22-25)
Bondservant – not just slaves but those who are working off debt.
Obey those who we report to.
Do it willingly and completely.
Don’t do your work just to please others.
Do your job with excellence as for the Lord.
Don’t do just enough to get by.
This is part of our witness.
If you do wrong, you will pay it back.

Examine your attitude toward your job
o Have you given your all as to the Lord?
o Have you treated others fairly, justly and given grace?
Would you be proud to offer a copy of your work evaluation with the Lord? What would He say?
